about me
You might wonder how a science nerd like myself came to create a business like this.
Long story short – I first went to Virginia Commonwealth University and began my college journey as an art major. I got into communication arts and started my track into medical illustration in 2010 when before I knew it, I fell in love with science.
I immediately changed majors to biology and joined United2Heal, a (now non-profit) organization whose goal was to collect surplus medical supplies and send them abroad to areas in need. Despite this change, I continued to do freelance art/photography/events.
Years later, in 2014, I decided to pursue a graduate degree. This time around, I stayed within the science realm and only went from biomedical engineering to public health. I eventually earned my Masters of Public Health and got a certificate in global health at no other than the University of Maryland (yay college football finally!).
I learned a lot about myself through these years and discovered my passion was really for people.
